About Rotary Air Drum Filters

Rotary air drum filters continuously process slurry and discharge cake. They have a variety of applications, including wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, chemical production, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, mineral mining and refinement, and food processing. A vacuum is created as a drum rotates, drawing the submerged sectors out of the water. To generate a cake with the desired thickness, the drum is turned at a specific speed. After leaving the drainage zone, the drum moves into the water wash zone. There are several zones that make up the rotary air drum filter's operation, including the pick-up zone, drainage zone, washing zone, drying zone, and cake removal zone.
